The creation of the thermal break barrier includes a three step process; prepare, pour, and debridge. First, the aluminum profile is “prepared” by being placed into a channel to capture the insulating polymer. With the necessary equipment this creates a “lock.” Next, the polymer is “poured” as a liquid into a channel which then hardens into an insulating element. Finally, the “bridge” is removed from the channel eliminating the aluminum element and produces a non-metal to metal thermal barrier.
